School Psychologist - Willimantic, CT

Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification is required
- Prior experience in a K-12 setting strongly considered
- Proficiency conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity with developing IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning spaces
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological and educational evaluations
- Participate actively in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to devise student support strategies
- Provide consultation and intervention services to faculty, students, and families
- Help design, implement, and monitor student IEPs and related services
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
