Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention preferred
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations (cognitive, behavioral, and emotional)
- Skill in developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans
- Strong problem-solving and consultative skills with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive and equitable practices
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments for students referred for special education or intervention services
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to design and monitor individualized support strategies
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management consultation as needed
- Participate actively in school meetings, including student support and eligibility determination teams
- Document evaluations, interventions, and progress following legal and ethical guidelines
- Support a positive and inclusive school climate through education and advocacy
