School Psychologist – Milwaukee, WI
ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to provide support for a school district in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessment and counseling services while supporting students and school teams.
Position Details
- Location: Milwaukee, WI
- Position: School Psychologist
- Immediate support: On-call support from ASAP through December
- January placement: Covering a leave beginning in January
- Initial contract: 3 months, with potential for extension
- Caseload: School-based student population
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments as part of the IEP process
- Complete student observations and evaluations
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and reevaluations
- Present and share evaluation findings with school teams, families, and other stakeholders
- Provide approximately 9 counseling services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Appropriate School Psychologist credentials/licensure for Wisconsin
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
