Key Qualifications:
- Valid, current Alabama school psychology license required (proof of licensure must be provided at application)
- Experience in school settings preferred, with a passion for supporting diverse student populations (K–12)
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills in educational environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility to serve multiple schools (itinerant work may be involved depending on testing needs)
- Committed to working on-site only
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students, including psychoeducational assessments and behavioral observations
- Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services as appropriate
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other student-centered meetings
- Adapt services to meet changing student and district needs throughout the school year
