Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Current or eligible state licensure/certification in school psychology
- Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling skills
- Experience designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school environment
- Previous experience working in K-12 settings is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and recommend intervention strategies tailored to individual students
- Support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic growth through direct counseling and group sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Promote preventative interventions and positive behavior supports
- Provide crisis response and assist in developing safety protocols as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records
