In this full-time role onsite throughout the 2026–2027 school year (August to June 2027), you’ll collaborate closely with an engaged special education team to elevate student outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations, ongoing assessments, and re-evaluations for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Participating in 504 plan meetings to guide accommodations and meeting compliance requirements
- Serving as an essential support for the special education team, offering your expertise in intervention strategies, behavioral assessments, and student-centered consultations
- Interpreting assessment results, preparing detailed reports, and facilitating clear communication with families and staff
- Upholding best practices and professional ethics consistent with current school psychologist standards
- Remaining flexible and responsive to school-based priorities and student needs
Ideal qualifications and desired experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification as required for the state
- In-depth knowledge of school-based assessment tools, data interpretation, and individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Experience supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels is strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
- Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and advocacy for all students
- Capability to be onsite and engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
