Make a difference as a contract School Psychologist, supporting diverse students from early childhood through high school in an on-site environment. This full-time, in-person role begins August 2026 and requires a dedicated professional to serve as an integral resource for students, staff, and families. You’ll join an Early Years program and be responsible for conducting psychoeducational assessments, writing detailed reports, and actively participating in IEP meetings to ensure the academic and emotional success of students.
What you need to bring:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist licensure (must be provided when applying)
- Previous school-based experience, ideally across various age groups (preschool, elementary, and high school)
- Strong background in psychoeducational evaluation and comprehensive report writing
- Experience contributing to IEP processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively support multiple school sites and a wide age range
- Dependable transportation for travel between locations as needed
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting requirements promptly (fee applies)
- Commitment to full-time hours on-site (no hybrid or remote options)
Daily responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Preparing clear, actionable reports to guide instructional and intervention planning
- Partnering with staff, students, and families to develop and implement interventions
- Participating in IEP meetings and consultations with other professionals
- Serving as a resource and advocate for student mental health and academic growth
