This full-time, contract position is based on-site with a dynamic educational team near Wilmington, DE. You’ll play a crucial part in assisting students across all grade levels, collaborating with colleagues and families to help each learner reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist Licensure (must be included with application)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, preferably across multiple age groups
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
- Prior participation in IEP meetings and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing a versatile caseload across various school sites and grade levels
- Ability to commute reliably to the assigned school location (on-site only, no hybrid or remote options)
- Willingness to complete district fingerprinting requirements within the first few days (initial cost responsibility)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and psychoeducational evaluations for students in preschool through high school
- Prepare accurate, detailed reports to inform student support and intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to develop and monitor IEPs
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support the Early Years Program with a focus on developmental and academic growth
- Travel, as needed, between assigned school locations within the district
