Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Current state license or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies in a school setting
- Proficiency in collaborative consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Offer consultation and training for school staff on best practices and support strategies
- Maintain timely documentation and compliance with relevant laws and policies
