What you’ll need:
• Active Delaware School Psychologist certification
• Previous experience in K-12 settings, especially conducting evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
• In-depth understanding of IEP processes, with experience attending and contributing to 60-day IEP meetings
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, supporting collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Passion for counseling and supporting adolescent mental health needs
Primary responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group counseling to students across grades 8-12
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and develop detailed assessment reports
• Participate in the review and implementation of 60-day IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer consultative support to teachers and families, addressing students’ behavioral, academic, and emotional needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Engage in problem-solving interventions and data-driven decision-making for students’ educational progress
