Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required to be considered)
- Experience providing psychological services in educational settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Flexibility in working with a diverse caseload across grade levels
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage services at multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs using standardized tools and evidence-based practices
- Develop and interpret Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and recommendations
- Provide direct support and interventions to students, including individual and group counseling
- Consult with educators, families, and outside specialists to support student success and school improvement plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to help address learning and behavioral challenges
- Document and communicate student progress and services in accordance with district and state guidelines
