Qualifications:
- Active Virginia School Psychologist License is required
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with psychoeducational assessments and development of intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and provide reports with actionable recommendations
- Support development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group counseling
- Consult with teachers and staff to design and implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school policy and state regulations
