Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Master’s degree or higher in school psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data to identify student needs
- Participate in the creation, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to promote student well-being
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as required
- Offer expertise to support school-wide initiatives and programs targeting mental health and academic achievement
