Your role will involve consulting across two elementary sites, providing both pre-referral consultations and comprehensive evaluative support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing student behavior plans
- Comfortable assisting staff in managing behaviors across various educational settings
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Solid background conducting pre-referral and evaluative activities within school systems
- Flexibility to work onsite across multiple locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and support behavior intervention plans tailored to elementary students’ diverse needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist staff with proactive classroom management techniques and interventions
- Conduct assessments, gather data, and participate in the evaluative process for student referrals
- Advocate for students’ social, emotional, and academic well-being
- Provide consultative support and training on behavior management strategies to school staff
