Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
- Experience developing behavior plans and conducting behavior assessments
- Skilled in guiding staff to manage behaviors in both classroom and non-classroom environments
- Background in pre-referral interventions and evaluative activities in elementary settings
- Strong interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt services across multiple school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral support for elementary-aged students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Assist staff in effective behavior management techniques and strategies
- Conduct pre-referral interventions and evaluation activities as part of the special education process
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
