In this position, you’ll bring your experience as a School Psychologist to a close-knit school community, working with students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Your daily schedule will be full of variety—supporting problem-solving processes, actively participating in Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, and managing comprehensive IEP evaluations and services. You’ll play an essential part in shaping supportive academic and social-emotional environments.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current credentialing and licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met)
- Prior experience in educational or school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP evaluation procedures and service delivery
- Experience supporting a range of student age groups, especially K–8
- Collaborative approach and comfort working cross-functionally with diverse school teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and crisis intervention skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and IEP evaluations
- Serve as a member of the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
- Implement evidence-based strategies and work alongside faculty to develop individualized student plans
- Engage in problem-solving meetings to address academic or behavioral concerns
- Work on-site exclusively between two closely situated schools, supporting students across both elementary and middle school levels
