Working onsite, you'll contribute your expertise to two neighboring schools, engaging closely with both kindergarten through fifth grade and sixth through eighth grade students.
As a key member of each building's educational team, your responsibilities extend well beyond assessments. You’ll actively participate in collaborative initiatives that promote student growth and safety, including problem-solving processes, the Student Intervention Team, and the Building Crisis Team. Your insights will be essential in guiding IEP evaluations, delivering services, and ensuring all students have the support they need to thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience in K-8 educational environments preferred
- Proficiency in conducting IEP evaluations and shaping individualized services
- Strong skills in collaborative problem solving, crisis intervention, and team participation
- Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic school setting
Your Daily Contributions:
- Coordinate and carry out IEP evaluations and related documentation for eligible students
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to implement interventions and provide crisis support
- Contribute to proactive approaches for behavioral, academic, and social-emotional challenges
- Serve as a trusted resource for colleagues seeking expertise in student support services
This contract assignment runs from July 30th through June 2, offering the unique opportunity to positively impact two welcoming school communities. The schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week in a supportive, collaborative environment.
