What we’re seeking:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for credentialing in Washington State
- Experience working in a PK-12 educational setting (preferred)
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and response to intervention (RTI) models
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify learning, social, and behavioral needs
- Interpret test results and share findings with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Design and monitor effective interventions and supports
- Counsel students one-on-one or in groups for social-emotional or academic issues
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral plans
- Consult and collaborate with school staff to enhance student outcomes
- Promote culturally competent practices in serving a diverse student population
