Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license (required)
- Professional experience working with students in grades K-12 (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and support planning for diverse student needs
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Previous involvement in IEP meetings and special education processes preferred
- Adaptability to work with changing caseloads and multiple schools as needs arise
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students in K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 grades
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators in identifying students requiring additional supports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing findings and recommendations clearly with families and teams
- Develop and help monitor intervention strategies and individualized plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Provide crisis response and counseling support as appropriate
