Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience working with middle and high school students preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of special education processes, including IEPs
- Strong assessment, report writing, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete all initial and re-evaluation paperwork and administer required testing for IEPs
- Analyze assessment data and develop clear, actionable reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding evaluation findings and recommendations
- Support multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate interventions and educational supports
- Provide direct student support as needed, offering guidance and strategies to promote student success
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations and district policies
