Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification (state and national credentialing preferred)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and interpreting data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and support a range of socio-emotional needs
Responsibilities:
- Perform individual psycho-educational assessments and evaluations
- Develop, interpret, and help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support for students as needed
- Offer guidance and training for staff on behavior management, academic interventions, and mental health awareness
- Maintain documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
