Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Proficiency in assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and report writing
- Strong understanding of special education regulations and IEP development
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practices
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly while supporting a dynamic caseload
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations for services and accommodations
- Delivering consultation and intervention for students, families, and staff
- Assisting in developing behavior plans and intervention strategies
- Offering crisis prevention and response services as needed
- Supporting multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and mental health initiatives
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative school culture
