Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support students, families, educators, and administration
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students and families
- Support teachers in implementing classroom interventions and behavioral plans
- Deliver professional development and guidance to staff regarding student mental health and behavioral needs
- Participate in eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and problem-solving teams
- Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and district regulations
