Step into a meaningful contract opportunity dedicated to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development for the 2023/2024 school year. This onsite position is available for a School Psychologist interested in making a direct impact working with K-12th grade students for 37.5 hours each week.
Your expertise in assessment, consultation, and intervention will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams as you deliver comprehensive services to meet the diverse needs of students.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant licensure
- Experience conducting assessments with K-12 age groups
- Skilled in individualized education program (IEP) development
- Knowledge of MTSS/RTI models and behavioral intervention strategies
- Comfortable leading or participating in student evaluations and meetings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to onsite, in-person services (not virtual/VOCO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility
- Collaborate with school staff on implementing intervention strategies
- Support students through crisis intervention and counseling when appropriate
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop behavior management plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
- Promote a school climate supportive of learning and mental wellness
