About the Opportunity
Our education staffing agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a partnering school district in Oregon. The School Psychologist will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student academic success, social-emotional well-being, and positive behavioral outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to develop effective interventions and support plans.
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health concerns.
- Assist with behavior assessments and the development of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Support crisis intervention, threat assessment, and student mental health initiatives as needed.
- Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate educational supports and services.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations and timelines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Qualifications
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist license/certification
- Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and evaluation practices.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and varying educational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting.
- Experience with MTSS, RTI, behavioral interventions, and counseling support.
- Familiarity with special education compliance and Oregon educational regulations.
