- Familiarity with special education processes, individualized education plans (IEPs), and federal/state education regulations
- Strong communication and consultation skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Ability to use data-driven approaches to monitor and promote student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop strategies to support students’ cognitive, social, and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with faculty and families to identify student needs and recommend interventions
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to student support decisions
- Provide crisis intervention and facilitate referral to community resources as needed
- Support school-wide initiatives promoting positive behavioral and academic outcomes
