What we’re looking for:
- Valid California credential as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Knowledge of special education laws and compliance requirements
- Skilled in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Strong consultation and communication abilities with staff, students, and parents
- Flexible, resourceful approach and a dedication to student success
Key responsibilities:
- Complete thorough evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting findings with clarity and care
- Collaborate with educators and parents to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Deliver direct and indirect support services, such as counseling and behavioral interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, fostering a safe school environment
- Contribute to ongoing staff development and family education efforts
