Qualifications and Experience:
- California credentialed or licensed as a School Psychologist (PPS credential required)
- Previous experience within a school setting, K–12 preferred
- Deep understanding of learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of diverse student populations
- Proficiency conducting comprehensive assessments and writing clear, actionable reports
- Skilled in providing direct counseling and crisis intervention to students
- Effective communicator with administrators, educators, parents, and outside agencies
- Collaborative approach to developing and monitoring student support plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and generate reports for IEPs and student support teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to offer input on student needs and interventions
- Deliver counseling services to students in individual and group settings
- Consult with faculty, families, and external professionals to design intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress, adjust supports as necessary, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere that values student well-being
