This full-time, on-site contract position offers the chance to deliver essential psychological services at multiple locations, including a support assignment at Mt. Pleasant. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student well-being and academic success for the remainder of the current school year—with potential to extend if needed.
Skills & Experience Desired:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Experience with K-12 populations and diverse student needs
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting results to inform student supports and services
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide individual and group counseling for students presenting with social, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Collaborate with educators to design and implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Consult with families and staff to promote positive learning environments and address barriers to student achievement
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and comply with relevant legal and ethical guidelines
