Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license for California
- Current Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
- Experience working in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students, is strongly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, evaluation, and re-evaluation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, growth-oriented learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Complete timely evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Provide consultation and training to staff regarding best practices for student support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive student information
