Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active New Mexico School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong skills in conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions to support student well-being
- Consult with educators and families on strategies to address learning or behavioral concerns
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as required by school policies
- Contribute to crisis response and facilitate conflict resolution as needed
