In this contract role, you’ll support academic and behavioral growth throughout the school district, working onsite across multiple school locations. Your expertise as a School Psychologist or Diagnostician will help identify students’ needs and guide educational teams in delivering tailored interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current New Mexico PED School Psychologist License
- Comfortable traveling between schools within the district
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and communication skills
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30–40 evaluations
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design individualized education plans
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families regarding behavioral and academic supports
- Provide recommendations for interventions to address students’ needs
- Assist in developing positive behavioral strategies district-wide
- Maintain accurate, confidential evaluation records and reports
- Travel throughout the district to serve students at various school sites
