Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and behavioral intervention strategies
- Experience conducting cognitive, academic, and social-emotional evaluations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Up-to-date knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and current best practices in school psychology
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services, including counseling and intervention, to students individually and in groups
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to assist with special education eligibility and program planning
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise on students’ learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Support crisis intervention and risk assessment procedures when necessary
- Promote a positive, inclusive school climate through consultation, training, and prevention programs
