Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active DOE Certification required to practice as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly desirable
- Ability to obtain and complete all required credentialing steps, including fingerprint clearance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and administrators
- Adaptable approach and openness to serving varying schools and student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide consultation and intervention services to support student learning and mental health
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and intervention planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a positive learning environment
- Maintain clear records, compliance documentation, and timely reporting
