Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DOE (Department of Education) certification required
- Experience or background in school-based psychological services
- Willingness and ability to complete all time-sensitive credentialing such as fingerprinting
- Flexibility to travel between schools as assigned
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
- The district may consider a 4-day onsite/1-day hybrid schedule for highly qualified candidates with valid justification
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend actionable interventions
- Support the evaluation and eligibility process for special education services
- Deliver evidence-based direct and indirect student support, including crisis intervention
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and case records
- Contribute to professional development sessions and multidisciplinary meetings
