What you’ll bring:
- Valid state license or certification as a school psychologist
- Previous experience providing psychoeducational assessments in a K-12 setting
- Strong understanding of special education processes and legal compliance
- Expertise in conducting evaluations and reevaluations for diverse student needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff alike
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations for K-12 students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student interventions and supports
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Support crisis intervention and assist with social-emotional learning initiatives as needed
