This opportunity begins August 3, 2026, and continues through June 7, 2027. Two positions are available, both offering a consistent 35-hour work week. Choose between two schedules: 8:50 am – 3:30 pm or 7:30 am – 2:20 pm, to best fit your personal preferences. Located near Alexandria, IN, this role supports a diverse student population with caseload size varying according to the district’s needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students in a school-based or similar setting, preferably K–12.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of IEP development, special education processes, and educational testing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing caseload requirements and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across K-12.
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and mental health.
- Develop and contribute to IEPs, attend eligibility meetings, and assist in creating intervention plans.
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school, district, and state requirements.
- Engage in preventative and responsive services, promoting a healthy school environment.
