Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI frameworks and special education compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to cultural competency and equity in education
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to support diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ learning, behavior, and emotional challenges
- Provide recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and guide educational planning
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and crisis intervention as needed
- Deliver individual and group counseling, consultation, and prevention services
- Support positive behavioral and mental health initiatives within the school environment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines
