Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of state and federal special education regulations
- Excellent assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Comfort navigating both in-person and virtual professional environments
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations onsite
- Participate in evaluation meetings, interpreting assessment results for staff and families
- Develop detailed, accurate reports
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide actionable recommendations
- Support IEP teams, which may include attending meetings virtually
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide recommendations for behavioral support
