Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid Washington state School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for credentialing)
- Knowledge of special education evaluation methods, IEP development, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
- Experience with diverse student populations and comfort navigating various school settings
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide clinical insights
- Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining student confidentiality
Core responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using standardized assessments and observations to identify learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings; contribute to eligibility decisions and educational planning
- Develop, monitor, and support implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support classroom accommodations and instructional strategies in collaboration with staff
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for all assessments and services provided
