Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering counseling interventions to students
- Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI frameworks and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Ability to effectively consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and supports
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with IEP and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individual education plans
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling services as needed
- Support the implementation of school-wide prevention and intervention strategies
- Maintain detailed reports and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local mandates
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
