We're seeking two dedicated professionals to fill full-time, onsite contract positions serving K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year, with a start date of October 1, 2026, and the possibility to extend for ESY and NSY, contingent on performance.
Your work may be itinerant across multiple school sites, tailored to testing needs, providing the variety and engagement you’re looking for. Specific site assignments will be finalized closer to the start date.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Alabama School Psychologist license (required)
- Proven experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in a school setting
- Comprehensive understanding of evaluation, testing, and counseling techniques
- Ability to adapt flexibly to changing caseload needs and locations
- Willingness to travel between campuses as testing demands arise
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Prepared to provide verification images of licenses
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students K–12, as assigned
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Generate and interpret psychoeducational reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing student intervention plans
- Deliver counseling or support services when necessary
- Maintain clear documentation in compliance with school and district policies
