School Psychologist in Spanish Fort, AL

We are seeking skilled, compassionate School Psychologists to serve the greater Mobile, AL area for the upcoming academic year. This is an on-site, contract position providing an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic school setting, with the possibility for contract renewal for extended school year (ESY) and next school year (NSY) based on performance.
This assignment spans from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with 40 hours per week. Placement in specific schools and final caseload numbers will be shared closer to the start date, and the assignment may include travel between sites to meet testing needs. The selected professionals will deliver high-quality psychological services to students in grades K–12, conducting evaluations, developing interventions, and collaborating with educational teams.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Alabama School Psychologist license (documentation required)
- Experience working with K–12 populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work itinerantly if needed, based on district requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student growth
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
