School Psychologist - Spanish Fort, AL
Step into a vital role supporting K–12 students as a School Psychometrist in the Mobile, AL area beginning this October! This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals who thrive in school environments and excel at assessment and data-driven interventions.
You'll collaborate closely with school teams to conduct comprehensive assessments and provide critical insights, supporting students’ academic and emotional success. Expect varied assignments and opportunities to contribute across campuses in response to testing needs. This position is strictly on-site; remote or VOCO options are not available.
Key Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or a related field
• Active professional license as a School Psychometrist (please be prepared to provide documentation)
• Previous experience working within school settings with K–12 students
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Flexibility to work as an itinerant provider, based on testing demand
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for testing (K–12)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to interpret results and make data-driven recommendations
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation for all assessments and reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support compliance with state and district policies
• Travel between assigned schools as required
• Maintain timely and effective communication with school personnel
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week contract role with the potential for renewal based on performance. Interviews will be conducted on-site beginning August 26, 2026 (no interviews the week of August 31st–September 4th); applicants must be available for in-person meetings.
