Step into an impactful role serving K–12 students as a School Psychometrist in a reputable Alabama district. This full-time, on-site position runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with potential for extended opportunities based on performance. As part of your responsibilities, you will play a critical part in supporting students’ educational journeys through expert psychological assessment and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in School Psychometry or a closely related field required
- Current, valid professional license as a School Psychometrist (proof of licensure must be provided)
- Experience working with K–12 populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of assessment tools and procedures
- Demonstrated professionalism and reliability in an educational setting
- Capacity to travel between assigned schools as needed
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
- Interpret data and provide detailed written reports supporting educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to inform intervention strategies
- Support compliance with state and district testing and documentation requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all assessments
- Flexibly respond to varying testing demands and itinerant assignments throughout the school year
