Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting evaluations and assessments for students with diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with IEP processes and response-to-intervention frameworks
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data for special education eligibility and program planning
- Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention support
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to design and implement effective interventions
- Assist in developing behavioral management plans and support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the decision-making process for students’ educational plans
- Support a positive and inclusive school climate by promoting mental health awareness
