Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience in administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity with MTSS, RTI, and special education processes in K-12 environments
- Strong skills in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities
- Ability to effectively organize a caseload and prioritize tasks
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to support eligibility determinations and interventions
- Work through the existing backlog of referrals and evaluations for ESY and regular year students
- Participate in IEP meetings by presenting findings and making data-driven recommendations
- Provide consultative services to school staff and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
- Develop individualized intervention strategies and assist in progress monitoring
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state timelines
- Support a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
