Virtual School Psychologist | South Carolina
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services, based in Charleston, SC. This role involves providing psychological assessments, consultations, and support to students in a remote capacity, helping to address their emotional, developmental, and educational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpreting results to inform educational planning
- Delivering telehealth counseling and crisis intervention for students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulations
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological services via telehealth platforms
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and families remotely
- Familiarity with applicable federal and state education laws and guidelines
