Key qualifications:
- Current, active School Psychologist license for Alabama (must provide documentation)
- Experience working with school-aged children (K–12), ideally across a variety of settings
- Strong proficiency in assessment, intervention, and report writing
- Ability to develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to guide appropriate interventions and accommodations
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to create supportive learning environments
- Deliver individual and group counseling as part of comprehensive services
- Help develop strategies that address behavioral, social, and academic needs
- Assure compliance with all regulations and district policy regarding assessments and documentation
- May travel between campuses as needed to respond to district testing demands
