Make a real difference in students’ lives by providing essential assessment services as a School Psychometrist or School Psychologist in the Mobile area. This is a full-time, on-site contract assignment running from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with potential for renewal based on performance. Engage with K–12 learners across multiple schools to conduct valuable evaluations and ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychometry or School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active professional license as a School Psychometrist or School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and evaluations with children and adolescents
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability; willingness to work itinerantly as needed across school sites
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in educational settings
- Ability to provide copies of required professional licenses upon request
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to students in grades K–12
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to interpret findings and recommend support strategies
- Deliver clear and comprehensive reports for eligibility meetings and educational planning
- Adjust assessment plans based on caseload needs and travel between school sites as required
- Support school teams in implementing interventions and monitoring student progress
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to deadlines for report completion
